They are few and far between, so I wanted to share a successful Family Home Evening that we had tonight. We talked about temples and about being sealed as a family. We then looked at pictures of temples that are significant to our families - the ones we (or other family members) were married in, went to for the first time, etc. For the activity, we built temples out of LEGO blocks and took pictures. The kids had a lot of fun and mommy and daddy were happy because there wasn't much arguing!
Mommy and Riley built a temple for the zoo keeper and his tiger.
Aiden built a slide on his so that Bob could have fun.
Will had a chair for his people to sit in.
Quinn's temple is under construction - they are putting the angel Moroni on!
I liked the lighting on this one!

What a great idea. our most successful FHE are the ones with lots of play.
That is awesome! I love the way the flash lit up the top. Very very cool, and I am in awe of your family home evening skillz. We have family home moments around here. E for Effort, right?
Way to go Dentons!
What a great idea! We'll definitely be stealing it.
Cute idea, loved it but what's up with naked Riley? lol
Doug - you are the only one I know that would relate gospel principles to Legos!! Did you pick them up when you were done? HA!!
