Sausage Rolls are Here! Happiness and Cheer!

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was hungry... This morning, we woke up and ate some of our traditional Denton family Christmas foods. Sausage and ham rolls, monkey bread and fruit. With the exception of the fruit, it all turned out pretty good. We then cleaned the house because Santa does not bring toys to little boys who don't put their current ones away (at least not in our house, that is...). We then made some snickerdoodle cookies for Santa and are having the missionaries over for dinner. We went the easy route and got a couple of pizzas! The boys are all excited for tomorrow and I am sure that they (or Santa) will get no sleep tonight!

Santa Pictures

On Saturday we took the kids to the mall down the street to see Santa. There's not much in this mall anymore. We've heard it's the oldest mall in Indiana. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to see Santa and you can make a donation if you want to. You actually take your own pictures. The kids had fun and we didn't have to wait forever to see Santa. If I had known before this year that they have Santa at that mall we might have taken the kids to see Santa more!
We finally got a good Christmas picture of all the kids!

Santa told Quinn he was asking for too many Legos!

Will didn't have too much to say to Santa. He just wanted a candy cane!

Aiden was very excited to see Santa and tell him what he wanted.

Riley's not quite sure what to think about Santa. At least she didn't scream.

This Year's Christmas Pics

Can I just tell you how frustrated I am right now with Christmas pictures. SO frustrated. Seething. We tried 4 times, with bribery, to get the kids to sit still for some pictures. While we were never able to get "the one", we did get several outakes. Lots of pictures here, but I wanted you to share in my pain. To top it off, once we gave up and chose the least ridiculous of the group, I went to walmart's website to order prints and they kept cropping off the tops of their heads. I thought I would have a massive coronary. I definitely threw quite the hissy fit. Tasha could vouch for that. Merry Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving (a couple of weeks late)

Riley on the little carosel at the bowling alley.

Quinn waiting for his ball to make it to the end of the lane.

Will. I'm not really sure what he is doing.

Aiden having lots of fun!

Riley watching her ball go down the ramp.

So I thought I would post some pictures from Thanksgiving. I figured better late never. We went to Memphis to be with Doug's family. It was just Doug's dad and sisters, Denise and Donna. Everyone else had Thanksgiving with their in-laws. We had way too much yummy food. I think there were enough desserts for everyone to have their own. On Saturday we took the kids to see Bolt and then we went bowling with Denise and Donna. We had lots of fun. Riley even bowled this time. She was the only one to break 100! She had lots of help though. Enjoy the pictures.
